Cinematic thinking articulates itself as a visual and audible modulation of spatiotemporal dynamics, namely in the patterns of audio-visual composition as they ground the poetics of the images themselves. To reveal these aesthetic patterns, to make them intersubjectively describable, and to reconstruct the respective poetics – this is the goal of our method development.
