Olivier Aubert is a research engineer at Laboratoire des Sciences du Numérique at the graduate school for engineering sciences at the University of Nantes. Auberts research area lies in the Digital Humanities and focuses on knowledge engineering, document engineering, audio-visual annotation, hypervideos and user-centered systems. His ongoing projects are Advene, a video annotation and hypervideo production platform and a joint project with the Hasso-Plattner-Institut (HPI) and Free University Berlin called Affektrhetoriken des Audiovisuellen (AdA). 

His latest publication is „REMIND : une méthode pour comprendre la micro-dynamique de l'expérience des visiteurs de musées“ (2017) with Daniel Schmitt, in Revue des Interactions Humaines Médiatisées (RIHM) = Journal of Human Mediated Interactions.
